The “QDL”-contest is a competition in continuous talking.
Teams of two should talk non stop- day and night, until they cant say another word.
Who ever takes a break of 10 sec. or longer gets striked out.
The team couple that still talks at last, wins 10.000 euros.
The idea originally comes from the webguerillas and was developed for T-Mobiles promotion of the new Handyflatrate “Max Friends”.
This is how it all works out:
- The „QDL“ contest is a competition on continuous talking, where people aged 18-25 attend.
- The goal is to constantly talk to each other, day and night.
- The team that shuts the talking for more than 10 seconds, is striked out.
- All teams are get equipped with headsets , so that the measurements of breaks etc. are correctly recorded.
- Every two hours, each participant gets a 10 minute break (eat/drink,toilet etc). The other talker has to continue talking to himself. If the team member doesn`t return on time, they are also striked out.
- The contest is won by only one team (the team of all cities), that ends up talking at last.
