The Oculas is a place to work and play, a place to dream, stimulate yoursenses, your personal sanctuary. A unique immersive experience engineered with McLaren Applied Technologies.

background : The Oculas was created by British designer Lee McCormack in 2002 as a solution to define boundaries between work and leisure. The resulting product was an innovative piece of design that provided the user with a unique immersive environment dedicated to the experience within.

In 2005 McLaren Applied Technologies began an exhaustive re-engineering process and with the schedule nearing completion the Oculas 2.0 is set to launch in 2007.
The first McLaren engineered prototype is due in March. The Oculas 2.0 will be a massive leap forward, with wholesale revisions to both the exterior and interior design, featuring a stunning re-engineered gull wing door. The level of integrated technology and functionality for the user has been also upgraded significantly with added features such as climate control, lighting control, automated monitor arm and a host of other features delivering a level of unbeatable performance for the user.
